This part is designed to be installed directly below the shift knob. It is made from solid metal and is used to raise the height of the knob closer to the steering wheel. This piece has a clearance hole so it sits low on the shifter as if it were original equipment.
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:
- Solid metal construction
- Identical sizing and positioning of critical geometry so it will function like the stock part
- Various colored finishes are available
- Extension will have set screws around the base. It is made to work with one of my shift knobs and isn't really designed to function with a stock knob.
NOTE: This product is designed to work perfectly with the stock BMW shifter that is a 14mm (0.550") diameter shifter rod. It can be made with or without a boot groove.
